These NO PREP addition games for first grade only need a die and counters. They are perfect to print, laminate and put in your math center. The last four addition games have been designed to be used in pairs or as an interactive worksheet. They can also be sent home for homework. Use the recording sheet and have your children record the addition equations they have made.
This collection of addition games includes:
Alien Encounters – 2 players
Players practice addition to 20 with this ‘bump’ style game.
Caterpillar Capers – 2 to 4 players
Players must add 6, 7, 8 or 9 to the numbers 5 – 10 before they can move along the board game.
Chess Moves – 2 players
Players practice addition to 6 + 6
Monsters and Muffins – 2 players
One player must identify addition equations that make 17 while the other player equations that make 18.
Bug Hunt – 2 to 4 players
Players progress up the climbing ladder giving the answer to the addition number fact only if someone has rolled the number of their bug.
Spin-A-Sum – 2 to 3 players
Players spin an equation and find its answer on a leaf.
Three in a Row – Interactive worksheet for 1 player or 2
Players consolidate their addition facts to 20.
Dinner Time – Interactive worksheet for 1 player or 2
Players add 5, 6 or 7 to numbers 10 – 15
Frog Hop – Interactive worksheet for 1 player or 2
Players add 7, 8 or 9 to numbers 6 – 11
Gumball Gallery – Interactive worksheet for 1 player or 2
