Second grade fractions can be a difficult concept to understand for young learners so while you’re teaching your fractions unit you’ll want to consolidate those tricky concepts with targeted interactive games that make differentiation easy.

This set of 5 fraction games include:
1. Fraction Hunt – 24 cards
Use the fraction cards to play ‘Scoot’ or use as a ‘write the room’ activity or simply place in your math center. A recording sheet is provided along with an answer key. The answer key is written on separate sheets using fraction names and fraction symbols (for older classes).
2. Bumble Bees – 2 players
Cover the correct fraction according to the spin.
3. Humpty’s Wall – 2 to 4 players
Children color in the correct fraction according to their spin. (Black ink version is included)
4. Fraction Game – 1 to 4 players Children match the fraction card to the correct board.
5. Alien Adventures – 2 to 4 players
Children must say the fraction they have landed on.
⇒There are 2 versions of each game where appropriate displaying either fraction words (3 quarters) or fraction symbols (¾) so you can use the game which best suits your class.
