These seven fraction games will take students from understanding the concept of equal and unequal parts (a crucial component for developing an understanding of fractions) to naming fractions, making this pack perfect for differentiation.

What’s included:

Equal or Unequal – 2 to 4 players

These fraction games help children understand that fractions are equal parts as they find cards with equal and unequal parts.

Name the Equal Parts – 2 to 4 players

Players identify fraction names – halves, thirds, fourths/quarters, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths and tenths.

Dinner Time – 2 to 4 players

Players identify parts of fractions – 2 thirds, 1 quarter etc. Fractions are represented as groups of objects with a portion shaded in.

Fraction Fiend – 2 to 4 players

Players identify fractions – fractions are identified as an equal part of the object shaded.

Fraction Match – 2 to 4 players

Players identify fractions as they travel around the board – fractions are identified as an equal part of the object shaded.

Fraction Fun – 2 to 4 players

Players must color parts of the whole according to the spin of the spinner. (Shapes are in eighths, spinner identifies halves or quarters.)

More Fraction Fun – 2 to 4 players

Players must color parts of the whole according to the roll of the die. (Shapes are in thirds, quarters, and sixths, spinner identifies halves, thirds or quarters.)
